Welcome to the Farmgirl Friday Blog Hop!
I am traveling this week. And with a fun and good cause! One, it is a girl’s (and well grandson too) getaway in Georgia. I get to see all three of my daughters and my sweet Arlo who is 21 months going on 7! He is such a happy, talkative, active little boy! And whenever I get to spend time with all three daughters it is full of laughter and happiness and is just well special!
On Saturday (tomorrow) we will be walking in breast cancer walk.
My youngest daughter has been involved in volunteering for cancer walks since college sorority days. When she took her current job she found herself again involved in a breast cancer walk. It benefits there local community – specifically those suffering with breast cancer. So it will be a weekend of powerful stories, tears, laughter and will be extremely special to share this with all of my daughters.
I have also been busy planning for spring. I have green babies under the lights and they are growing hourly!
Last weeks favorite was easy for me. Taylor had me POTATO as I LOVE everything potato. As a matter of fact we used the last of our potatoes this week (in honor of St. Paddy’s day) and that makes me a little melancholy…
BUT Taylor’s recipe for Leftover Mashed Potato Cakes will get me to dart to the store to get some more! They look so yummy!
